Ayesha Azmi who was born April 10, 1986, in India is an actress who has mostly appeared in Hindi films. Ayesha Azmi won the Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for her starring part as a lead actress in Taarzan The Wonder Car. It also marked her debut as an actor. She has been in numerous famous films like Paathshaala (2010 Wanted) Salaam-E-Ishq (2008) as well as Socha Na Tha (2010). Her first cameo was for an advertisement for the well-known health beverage Complan. Shahid Kapoor and she were on the cover of the iconic commercial "I'm Complan girl, I'm Complan boy". The remix song Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin as well included her. Thanks to the success of this song it brought her to the forefront during India's period of remixes. The singer began getting requests to appear in Bollywood movies. Takia, who was supposed to debut with Socha Na Tha due to delay in production, only informed of Taarzan after her debut. Ayesha declared her veganism in public when she took part in PETA's Indian advertisement. In 2006, she was on the listing of the top women of India.
